Lord’s Day Meeting

Each Sunday is the Lord’s Day in remembrance of the resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on the first day of the week.  This is our set weekly meeting time for study, worship and fellowship.  Our only dress code is to be as clean and modestly dress as one can be.  No suits or fancy dresses are required.  Everyone seeking to gather in the name of Jesus Christ is invited and welcomed.

Since October 5, 2020; we have been a congregation without a facility due to the work of an arsonist whose fires razed our entire set of buildings.  We are in the process of raising the funds and preparing to rebuild on our location at 417 North Lehmberg Road on the East side of Columbus, MS.  Until then we have been blessed to have neighboring congregations share their facilities with us.  For a number of months we enjoyed the loving hospitality of our friends up the street at Canaan Baptist Church.  Since then we have begun to meet in the Chapel on the Second Floor of the downtown location of First Baptist Church of Columbus, MS. located at 202 7th Street North.

Our meetings are simple.  We share prayer requests, praise reports, sing, read scripture and have a lesson or sermon.  For now, we all meet together for the one service in family style.
